Multi-instrumentalist/solo act Theresa Andersson is quite the entertainer with her loop machine. Between all the videos for this song, including the official music video, this raw home video is my favorite as it best shows the full band sound from the one Swedish sweetheart. A true songbird.

Who Knows Who Cares by Local Natives is a take away show produced by La Blogotheque. The band walks through a gorgeous building in Paris, flooded with amber light, filling the halls with this beautiful song.

It seems to have become a recent trend to have one instrument played by many players. Walk Off The Earth covered Gotye’s “Somebody that I Used to Know” which sky rocketed them into the main stream with the artist’s plunge into stardom. I recently came across this version of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” covered by The Piano Guys as well. Both covers are fascinating choreographies composed of 10 hands dancing across the instrument.

This is a follow up on my last post Ideas Worth Sharing of TEDxUSC, which I attended May 4th, 2012. Many of the videos from TEDxUSC have finally been posted to youtube, but others are still to come. Speakers include pro skater Rodney Mullen and professor Douglas Thomas. Comedy was hosted by Reggie Watts which was beyond laughter to tears rolling down cheeks. His video has yet to be released and any of the others found on youtube are good- but not as good. So hold tight for its release. In the meantime, enjoy those posted below.

Cherry lipped Rachel Khoo hosts this gem of a cooking show. The Little Paris Kitchen is shot in her apartment in the city and rings true to its name. With room for two burners, a mini oven, a sink and a chopping stand, Rachel never leaves the 1st frame. The backdrop is moroccan tile and hung pots, the forefront a sweet and raw host with innovative takes on traditional food. This cooking show launched on the BBC is a fresh treat!
